Karen Lee (Mungarrja) is a Wiradjuri artist whose large-format canvases now sit within the Lounge entrance and hallway at Local: Kensington. Her work explores themes of memory, landscape and connection to Country - acknowledging what has come before and what still remains.

These transitional spaces are often overlooked, but they carry rhythm and significance. Karen’s work brings stillness and presence into that daily movement - inviting reflection in the everyday.

Her pieces are thoughtful and grounding, helping to embed a sense of story and place within the fabric of the building.
