Home should feel like somewhere you want to arrive - somewherethat offers both calm and character from the moment you walk in.
For our residents Lobby and Lounge at Local: Kensington our team worked with Daylesford-based Carly Williams, an abstract artist known for her bold use of colour and layered forms.
Her large-format paintings bring contrast and warmth to these shared arrival spaces. Carly’s creative style draws from mid-century influences, global textile design and her former life as a film set painter—giving her work a cinematic scale and depth that feels right at home in these high-traffic, high-impact areas.
The works feel intuitive and full of energy, yet grounded. They set the tone for a building that values individuality and balance — offering something different every time you see them.
