5 Green Star Buildings

All new Local projects will aim for a minimum 5 Star Green Star rating. An internationally recognised system that sets standards for healthy, resilient, and sustainable buildings.

7.5 star NatHERS

Local will maintain a portfolio average NatHERS rating of at least 7.5 Stars. NatHERS measures energy efficiency, ensuring homes use less energy for heating and cooling, which helps reduce costs and environmental impact.

NABERS

All new Local projects will target a minimum 4.5 Star NABERS Energy rating. NABERS evaluates the environmental efficiency of building operations, ensuring that shared areas use minimal energy for a greener living environment.

Impact Housing

As part of our commitment to improving social outcomes, we’re working directly with registered housing providers to supply at least 10% of the apartments in each of our buildings to those who need them most:
  • Social Housing for women over 55 experiencing or at risk of homelessness
  • Affordable Housing for key workers who are vital to our communities
  • Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) for young people who need it, but may ordinarily be placed in aged care
